Did you know that American Heritage School has an app just for students? The Student News Source App, available in the App Store or the Google Play Store, offers a new level of connection for students at AHS. In addition to offering access to the articles usually found on the AHS Press website (ahspress.com), the app supplies information about all the major school events. Allowing push notifications will enable the app to send you notifications when a new item is posted or when the next big event is coming up at the school. Dixie Banks, a sophomore, has the app and says that, “If they [students] use it more often than just using the wall or the TV or Patriot News than it would definitely help [them].” In a time like this, it is especially important to stay connected to the school community and have all the information possible. This year, the school is going to try to be extra vigilant about always having information on the app well in advance about a big school event. Get the app, stay connected, and never miss an event again.
